My girlfriend has been talking about getting a lip augmentation for a while now and I knew nothing about it before I did a little research. I found a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon’s website with some useful information. It says, “The two most well known products are Restylane and Juvaderm. Since this is a natural occurring substance the body is very likely to accept this substance. Experience has shown that there are very few allergic reactions to the Hylaforms. Allergic reactions to the skin are so rare, a skin test is not typically required. The Hylaforms come as a gel, which is injected, into the deep dermal layer of the skin.”
