Weight Training Must Be Avoided For Several Days After A Thigh Lift

Wednesday, August 26th, 2009

“Dr. Gordon will determine when normal activities can be resumed; however, weight training and aerobic exercise must be avoided for several days.” After reading this on a website of a Las Vegas plastic surgeon, my heart sunk. I have been working out every other day for a while now which is why I need a thigh lift in the first place. It will hurt to not be able to get any exercising in for a few days, but I’m sure it will be worth it.

Many Surgeons Recommend Avoiding Anti-Inflammatories After Juvederm Injections

Tuesday, August 25th, 2009

I was looking for Juvederm aftercare instructions when I found an Atlanta plastic surgeon’s website. It says, “Some doctors recommend that you avoid any medications that can prolong bleeding, such as aspirin and non steroidal anti inflammatories (NSAIDS), for at least a week prior to treatment in order to reduce the risk of bruising and bleeding at the injection site. Ask your healthcare professional what he or she recommends.”

After An Ear Pinning You Are Likely Able To Return Home For The Night

Tuesday, August 25th, 2009

After an ear pinning procedure the San Diego plastic surgeon’s website that I found says this happens. “Following ear reshaping surgery in our San Diego office, patients are wrapped in dressing for one night and are allowed to return home.” I find this much more comforting than many other procedures because you get to go home. Some procedures require that you stay at the hospital overnight. With this you can heal happier in the comfort of your own bed.

Blepharoplasty Procedures Typically Take One To Three Hours

Saturday, August 15th, 2009

I was looking for information on cosmetic eyelid surgery, specifically how long the surgery takes to perform. I ended up looking online and found a Utah plastic surgeon’s website. It says, “The surgery generally takes about one to three hours and is most often performed in the physician’s office. If additional cosmetic procedures are being performed, the eyelid surgery will most likely last longer.” That was actually longer than I had expected, but I guess for the best results it takes time.

You Must Avoid Stenuous Activity For At Least A Month After A Breast Lift

Wednesday, August 12th, 2009

The recovery of my body after a breast lift is the most important part in my eyes. I did some looking around online and found out some basic information about breast lift recovery. On a West Palm Beach plastic surgeon’s website it says, “Recovery: Back to work: 1 week or more. Strenuous activities: 1 month. Fading of scars: several months to a year.”

A Candidate For Ear Pinning Typically Has Ears That Stick Out

Tuesday, August 11th, 2009

“You may be a candidate for ear pinning (otoplasty) if you have ears that stick out too far from the side of the head. You may also want to have an otoplasty procedure if your ears have an unusual or undesirable shape.” These sound just like two of the reasons I have been giving my parents for the last 2 years. Maybe if I show them the Santa Monica plastic surgeon’s website where I found this information they will finally get me the otoplasty I have been wanting.

Thinking about breast augmentation in Hawaii

Tuesday, August 4th, 2009

Are you considering breast augmentation? I recently found Dr. Pasquale in Hawaii. Dr. Michael A. Pasquale is a board certified reconstructive and plastic surgeon and Hawaii’s top surgeon for breast augmentation. Dr. Pasquale specializes in breast implant surgery, breast lift, breast reduction and breast revision surgery. Why not make a vacation out of it while you’re there?
When choosing to have breast augmentation in Hawaii, always choose a plastic surgeon that is qualified. Making an informed decision is the key.
